Most graduate programs prepare scholars to research well — but very few teach them how to teach well. When new professors step into the classroom for the first time, they often rely on instinct, trial-and-error, or outdated methods they experienced as students. It’s stressful. It’s overwhelming. And it’s unfair. TeachWell Institute was created to change that.
We believe that great scholars deserve the skills, support, and confidence to become great teachers. Our mission is simple: to provide practical, research-backed teaching guidance for college educators at any stage who want to succeed in the classroom from day one.
And the best part? TeachWell programs are commonly funded through institutional professional development accounts, making them accessible with little to no personal cost.
